Our mission is to create value from untapped energy, such as industrial by-products and biomass, while diversifying the energy mix and paving the way to energy independence.
Our vision
In the near future, all industrial operations will use additional systems to reduce their net-emissions and improve their efficiency. We aim to be the market leader for capturing and converting energy from industrial heat to power with our triGeneration solution.
Our journey
H2P was founded in 2009 by Frédéric THEVENOD, a former Renault & Dassault engineer.
H2P is now part of the HEVATECH company, based in Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux (26) and Gardanne (13).

The initial idea was to identify an existing waste heat recovery technology in order to improve combustion engines efficiency, but after a deep benchmark we concluded that no one could match our expectations in terms of efficiency and return on investment.
Today we offer solutions to our customers with a high heat-to-power conversion rate at mass market cost.
H2P has raised more than 20 million euros to hire talented and passionate engineers continually focused on improving engine performances.
Over 11 years, 60 patents have been created and the packaging has been redefined from an automotive application to a solution for the industry.
Several “technology bricks” around the engine were lacking of maturity. To address this, the company designed and produced their own heat exchangers and developed a strong network of industrial partners in the process.
Throughout this journey, the thermodynamic cycle has gained in efficiency and is now able to convert heat from 500 to 900°C.
Our market
Gas flaring
Our heat exchanger recovers the energy from burning un-valued gas to generate usable energy. This process is suited to the petrochemical industry.
Bio-mass combustion
Our system is able to cope with the high amount of soot in the emissions of the combustion. The system is used in series and improves the overall efficiency of the energy conversion. It is ideal for industrial processes where the cost of waste disposal is high.
